Game On

As I sit here watching Wayne's World on TV (I can't believe I thought I wouldn't find anything to do on a Saturday by myself), I figured I would check and see just how long it has been since I last posted. To my surprise, it has been a month!!!!
Good news, my neglect has not been due to frequenting the pogo website. It seems that the shine wore off soon after reaching the big goal.
I guess I should catch everyone up - as I have had feedback from some readers, seems people are actually interested.
I will first eliminate the suspense and just let everyone know right off the bat that I still have not yet hung any pictures up in our "new" place (it's not quite been 6 months).
Well, season is winding down here in the land of the dead, er, I mean the retired, so Vanilla and I have been able to spend a bit more time together.
One of the more exciting things we have been able to do is attend a concert. Now most that know me, know that concerts are somewhat of a regular thing for me, however they are not as frequent in this neck of the golf courses.
While sitting at lunch with another friend a few Sundays ago, we decided last minute to call and see if tickets were still available for the Def Leppard concert. Three hours and $40 in service fees later, we were sitting in an almost sold out arena (not that hard - the home of the Florida Everblades isn't really that big). Somehow, I just happened to call when someone had just given up their 3 tickets 8th row, center stage. I didn't have a voice for three days.
Huh, My Def Leppard Hat Trick was in a hockey arena!
I am still reading fervently.. I can't tell you what book I am on as I am currently reading two at once.
Some of my time in the last month has been filled with tending to the aftermath of a dermatology appointment gone horribly wrong. I won't go into details, but the doctor didn't do anything wrong (like the one last year), it's just been that what he did do has taken 5 weeks healing time and looks like I have another good week or so to go.
Here is a great flaw to not posting enough, I have possibly written enough to bore the beseegees out of anyone, yet I have covered nothing.
So, now that I have overcome the anxiety of logging on to see just how long it's been, I should be able to log on again soon and continue catching everyone up.
At this time however, I am going to tune in and catch the conclusion of the adventures of Wayne and Garth.
Party On,
Flip Flop
