Ahhh, Rain, finally Rain..
Most Americans would probably be shocked that a person in Florida would want it to rain. As it has been so rare here lately, and to be perfectly honest I am sick of waking up to the smell of the state on fire, this is a nice change.
Ok.. on to the more pressing issue.. It is the last day of May and this is my first post for the month. I really have been very anxious about posting and have therefore avoided signing on at all.. That being said, I am lowering expectations for the blog. Maybe a once a month type thing, unless something special comes up. We'll just see where it goes.
In the meantime, a little ketchup..
The wrath of the dermatologist took about 8 weeks to actually heal and left a scar that looks like someone put out their cigar on my skin. Yea!!
I finished reading the series a few weeks ago. The trouble with going through so many books in a row so fast is that it takes some time to get it out of your system. I've had withdrawals, very strange realizing that you are just a muggle.
Last weekend (Memorial Day) held great things for Vanilla. The namesake for the restaurant that he chefs (I don't like the word cooks - not until the student loans are paid off at least) came to town for a big dinner. It was a huge success and so much fun. Vanilla's folks (they would die if they heard me use that word) came in town for the event and we were able to spend some time with them, it was great fun. Ate way too much.

Well, now that expectations are at a lower level, I don't feel the least bit guilty about signing off without posting something profound. Who knows maybe this will help me to sign on even more.
I'm off to play minesweeper,
